Overview The US Consumer Credit Strategy lead is responsible for building and executing strategy to grow Visa Consumer Credit payments volume in the US. The primary objective is to develop product platform strategy and identify and operationalize investment to improve the competitiveness of Visa’s consumer credit products within known guardrails and industry headwinds. Responsibility will also include articulating a strategy to win more market share, retain and grow credit issuing deals.

Basic Qualifications 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience Minimum of 15 years of experience in payments, financial institutions engagement and consumer credit Preference to have previous experience working at a leading US consumer credit issuer BA/BS in computer science, business, or a related field Management experience required, including resource and budget planning, and direct management of employees Experience managing clients, professionals or consulting services Strong business acumen and understanding of commerce business KPIs Solid understanding of current and emerging technologies in the payments industry, particularly consumer credit Track record of ability to build successful client relationships with C-level client executives Executive level communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively Effective in public speaking engagements Ability to articulate a business benefit to an executive-level business stakeholder, with the ability to also explain details to functional and technical SMEs Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work Details

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 204,500.00 to 296,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
