Senior Identity Analyst

Overview The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Identity Analyst will participate in the design, implementation, and support of advanced IAM processes and technologies. This role will work closely with various departments across the University, as well as external vendors, to ensure the quality of identity data, the establishment of data standards, and that appropriate access levels are granted to users in a timely, secure, and compliant manner, focusing on automation wherever possible. In addition, the position will evaluate and test new software and upgrades. The Senior Identity Analyst is an important part of the IAM team and is accountable for managing the complete lifecycle of user identities within the University. This role involves ensuring that identities are created, maintained, and deactivated in accordance with university policies and regulatory requirements. The Senior Analyst will produce documentation, procedures, and any necessary materials to support IAM services. The Senior Identity Analyst will positively impact UCSF's operations and culture by protecting University stakeholders' information and data in service of the institution's academic, medical, and research mission. This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional security service comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students. This role will execute UCSF's vision while modeling UCSF's culture and values.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $138,400 - $207,600 (Annual Rate).
