Your Career The Solutions Consultant Manager is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineer Manager, leading teams to help customers understand their environment, obtain solution guidance, and realize value from Palo Alto Networks investments. As the Solutions Consultant Manager, you are the technical leader for your District Solutions Consulting team. You will work with the District Sales Manager to build relationships with customers to help detect and prevent advanced cyberattacks and breaches. You will guide what applications to deploy from our platform and mentor your team to stay ahead of the latest cyberthreats and prevention techniques. As the technical leader for your territory, you will develop your team to define innovative technical solutions that secure customers\' key business imperatives and maximize the value of their investment. You will champion our leadership in on-premises, cloud, and security operations services, and you will nurture talent and provide feedback to product management from customer insights. Recruit and hire new Solutions Consultants into the territory, selecting top talent Train, mentor, and review team members to keep them engaged and successful Support field Solutions Consultants in complex evaluations and challenging environments Lead and coach the team on technical validation efforts to achieve technical wins Define, create and monitor individual development plans for your team Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption Provide effective technical leadership in customer interactions and share security trends and standard methodologies Drive Platformization efforts within accounts Coordinate with Domain Specialist Manager to optimize resources Act as an escalation point for issues across pre-sales and post-sales teams Build and maintain relationships with key customers to solidify reference accounts and plan further opportunities Present to customers as an expert at all levels, from technician to CIO Discuss competitor products and position ours as the best alternative Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to capture requirements and provide customer feedback Travel 50-75% within the region Work with the sales counterpart to develop a technical growth strategy and identify key verticals, markets, use cases, and solutions Your Experience

Experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager Experience as a Senior System Engineer/Specialist Industry knowledge of security product market trends and awareness of roadmap and competitor offerings Knowledge of delivering comprehensive security solutions to Palo Alto Networks customers Experience in selling, designing, implementing or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies Collaborating with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Quota-driven attitude focused on client needs and being a trusted advisor Proficient in English The Team Our Solutions Consultant team works with large organizations worldwide to protect their digital environments. Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered depends on qualifications, experience, and location. For offers at the posted level, the starting base salary (non-sales) or base salary + commission target (sales) is expected to be between $224,000 - $308,000 per year and may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
