About The Role
In your role as Consultant, you will be responsible for execution and delivery on the projects you are staffed. You will develop and deliver insights drawn from WoodMac’s industry data and experience, deliver innovative thinking supported by market research and the subject matter experts of the WoodMac Supply Chain team, and leverage our software tools to help energy clients make effective supply chain and capital project decisions. You will work closely with your project lead to deliver to the project schedule. The role offers opportunities to develop client relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in final year of study, or a professional qualification with a quantitative, statistical, energy and/or economics focus Legal Right to Work in the country where the role is based; visa sponsorship is not available Hybrid work structure requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office To be Successful
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Highly inquisitive, innovative, organized and detail-oriented Ability to work in team-oriented environments Willingness to develop areas of expertise Results-driven; comfortable with a changing business environment Willingness to travel 60–80% (post-COVID restrictions) Main Responsibilities (Serving Our Clients)
Provide deep analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize results into meaningful conclusions to support strategic procurement and capital project decisions Conduct market research to assess supply and demand factors influencing clients’ strategic decisions Support bidding processes for large capital project contracts and strategic supply chain initiatives, including pricing analysis, bidder correspondence, bidder negotiations, and contract implementation Use WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform tools to analyze spend, build cost models, forecast escalation, manage eSourcing bid events, and train clients to use WoodMac tools Coordinate and communicate with client supply chain stakeholders as they design and implement supply chain strategies Contribute to the broader Supply Chain Consulting team’s goals and facilitate project execution Skills & Expectations
