JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled
Certified Medication Aides (CMAs)
to join our Radiant Medical Staffing to administer medications to residents in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living communities, based on the needs of our clients. This flexible per-diem position allows you to choose your schedule and work in different environments based on your experience, while providing excellent care to patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travel to contracted locations and work assigned shifts Follow contracted locations policies and procedures Administer medications as ordered by the plan of care for each resident Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines Seek licensed staff assistance as needed and with PRN medications Assure medications are given to the right person, in the right manner at the right time Chart all appropriate documentation Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services Maintain patient confidentiality As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) you will work with nurse supervisor to monitor any changes in condition Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc Foster a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families Adheres to the policies and procedures of the facility Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 years of age Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) License in Oregon Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Medication Aide Ability to work independently and manage your schedule within our staffing app Strong communication and organization skills Flexibility to work in different healthcare environments, including varying shifts and locations Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (if required by facility) Reliable transportation to travel to various locations
