A prominent UHNW family based in Downtown NYC seeks a polished, discreet, and service-oriented Property Assistant/Butler to join their household team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in luxury hospitality or private estate service, bringing a proactive, detail-driven approach and a “no task too small” attitude. This individual will wear many hats—supporting household operations, maintaining property readiness, providing hands-on service, and assisting with events, guests, and occasional travel. Key Responsibilities Ensure the household is maintained to 5-star standards of

cleanliness, order, and readiness for the principals and guests, coordinating with housekeeping and stepping in as needed. Oversee household systems, inventory, and supplies; handle light handyman tasks and basic troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors and property manager when necessary. Assist with household organization projects, seasonal changes, holiday décor, and floral arrangements. Provide seamless service for daily needs, meal setup, guest reception, luggage, errands, and both formal and informal entertaining. Support private events and social functions, from setup through execution and breakdown. Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure property security and functionality; open and close the residence as scheduled. Manage and liaise with contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel, ensuring discretion and quality control. Maintain vehicles, including fueling, cleaning, and retrieval from garage. Provide occasional hands-on support with cooking, simple meal prep, chauffeuring, wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and other ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in a UHNW household, luxury hospitality, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of high-level household service and etiquette. Tech-savvy with smart home, AV, and security systems. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and discretion. Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; background check and references required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and be on feet for extended periods. Professional, calm, and polished demeanor. Flexible and adaptable, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Prior experience in luxury hospitality, private estates, or yachting strongly preferred.

Full-time with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. (***** when principals are in town, availability on Saturdays is required.) *****

$125K–165K DOE, plus great benefits (medical/dental, PTO, 401k) *****

Fully onsite in Manhattan, NYC with travel to nearby properties (within 2 hours)
