Position Overview We are looking for a reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a resident care services team on a 13-week contract. The nurse will provide professional nursing care, assist in treatment delivery, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing services and administer prescribed medications Provide assistance with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility support Monitor resident conditions, recording and reporting changes as needed Ensure all documentation and care records remain accurate and current Participate actively in care planning and treatment plan adjustments Offer emotional support and foster positive resident interactions Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory policies Lead and supervise CNAs and care aides in daily responsibilities
Requirements Unrestricted LPN license in NY Completion of an accredited nursing program BLS certification required Previous LTC or geriatric nursing experience is highly valued Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills
