IT Infrastructure Project/Program Delivery Manager

Location: Mentor, OH (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-time – Onsite 5 days/week for first month, then 4 days onsite + 1 day remote
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project/Program Delivery Manager to join their global IT team. This is a critical role responsible for driving delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives, coordinating across multiple technology and business teams to deliver projects on scope, on time, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure project deliveries from start to finish, including scope, schedule, hardware procurement, and resource planning.
- Coordinate remote and onsite work with technical and functional teams across global regions.
- Provide program direction, ensuring clear understanding of roles, risks, timelines, and escalation paths.
- Serve as a liaison between Network Engineers, Cybersecurity Engineers, DBAs, System Administrators, Developers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and enforce project schedules, vendor performance, and quality standards.
- Facilitate smooth hand-offs to IT production teams and track deliverables until launch milestones are achieved.
- Maintain and update documentation related to hardware standards, processes, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, share best practices, and implement Lean actions.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects (8–12 at a time) in areas such as M&A, application migrations, backup recovery, cybersecurity, and networking — with an initial focus on cybersecurity and networking projects.
Top 3–5 Must-Have Skills
- Experienced IT Project Manager with some Program Management experience (3–5 years managing IT infrastructure and/or application projects).
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong oral, written, and follow-up communication skills — able to engage teams across time zones.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and task-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Able to manage budgets, funding channels, and project reporting effectively.
Nice-to-Have
- PMI or other Project Management certification (preferred but not required).
