HIGHLIGHTS:
- Candidates must have a minimum of (5) Five years recent experience in the specialty that is being applied for in order to be considered, in some cases more exp may be required
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS OR ALSO, NRP AND AWHONN Advanced FHM required
- May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM
- Must be flexible to work other shifts, holidays and weekends, as needed
- 12-Hours Nights (7p-7a)
- Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work
- May have to cover as charge nurse, after charge nurse training, on occasion
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Orientation: on Mondays only - If traveler misses the compliance deadline, they will pushed to the following Monday
MORE INFORMATION:
- Registered Nurse needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, babies room in with moms
- Average 40 deliveries per month
- Average 6 C-sections per month
- Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced/competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc
