Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced OR RN with a strong background in trauma and neuro surgical procedures. The RN will provide high-quality perioperative care for a wide variety of surgical cases, support the surgical team, and ensure patient safety throughout all phases of care. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in the OR, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including ENT, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, neuro, podiatry, plastics, and trauma. Experience in all areas required.
• Support surgical teams in both standard OR and robotic procedures.
• Manage patient care independently and collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff.
• Maintain documentation and comply with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
• Float as needed to other OR rooms and specialties.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Active New York RN License at time of submission
• Up-to-date BLS Certification
• PALS Certification preferred
• Minimum 2+ years OR RN experience; travel experience documented in resume
• Trauma and Neuro OR experience required
• 2 recent OR Charge/Manager RN references
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver’s license matching demographics
• NURSYS license verification report required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
