RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in Post Surgical unit
• Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
• Involve patients and caregivers in plan development and updates
• Administer IV medications, IV therapy, blood and blood components according to clinical standards
• Must be competent with cardiac drips and insulin drips
• Must be trained in application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, and monitoring patients in restraint or seclusion
• BLS certification required
• 1 year previous nursing experience preferred
• Must not be a previous employee of the facility
• Must reside outside of a 50 mile radius
• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract
• Candidates with license actions or background hits will not be considered
