RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed progressive care overflow unit with mixed level of care patients
• Handle medical surgical and step-down patients with quick turnover and short stay patients (less than 24-hour length of stay)
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 stretch depending on level of care
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Required to float to other units as needed
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• All patients hardwired to bedside telemetry monitors when indicated
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Every other weekend required, no call required
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• Dress code requires navy and/or white top with navy bottom, or all white scrubs
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and strong teamwork skills
