Job Description & Requirements

• Minimum Years of Experience required: 18 months PCU experience (Resource Team requirement)
• Will accept a first-time traveler: Not preferred but will consider
• Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team requirement)
• Weekend rotation: every other
• No call
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
• General PCU skillset required: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps
• Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, Insulin, blood products, IVF
