LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Vero Beach, Florida.

- Experience:
- Minimum 18 months ICU experience required
- 2 years ICU experience preferred
- Must have experience with both Cardiac & Neuro patients (mixed ICU)
- Certifications (Required at Time of Submission):
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
- OVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious
Exemptions Only.
Guaranteed Hours:
- 36 hrs for 3x12s
- 40 hrs for 8/10s
- Skills Required:
- Cardiovascular:
- Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
- Post-Cardiac Surgery (not directly from OR)
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
- Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- IV Therapy:
- Arterial line management
- Central line care/management
- Medications:
- Continuous IV sedation
- Titrate cardiac drips
- Titrate vasoactive drips
- Respiratory/Thoracic:
- Assist with BiPAP & CPAP management
- Care of ventilated patients
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Interpretation of ABGs
- Professional:
- Use of PPE
- Isolation precautions
- Cardiovascular:
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes
- Floating: Required – will float between Martin North, South, and Tradition (within 20 miles)
- Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: Yes – same rate applies
- Pending License: Not accepted
- RTO: All requests must be submitted upfront. Late requests unlikely to be approved.
- Special Requirements:
- Must complete time-sensitive modules promptly once confirmed.
- Facility Policy:
- Smoke-free campus. All travelers must be nicotine-free.
- Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required.
