RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with varied times, either 8 or 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours weekly
• Required to take call 1-2 days per week, approximately every 2-3 weekends
• Call responsibilities include holidays
• Work as part of a 4-person call team
• Perform interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Show understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Apply specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers and IABP insertion
• Demonstrate application of specialized skills in hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain understanding of radiology equipment and image processing
• Work with Meditech EMR documentation system
• Use Sensis monitoring equipment and Siemens equipment
• Work in 2 lab environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab required
• BLS certification required
