Functional Description

The Warehouse Associate's primary function is to support the efficient operation of the Company’s warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management and order fulfillment. This includes receiving, processing, and storing incoming stock, picking and packing orders, and preparing them for shipment. This role will also maintain a clean and organized work environment and often operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

Scope of Outcomes

The core responsibilities for this position include:

  • Equipment and parts receipt/harvest/recycle
    1. Support the receipt of whole assets at various warehouse locations, including initial quality control protocols
    2. Support the disposition and break down of equipment in terms of hold for resale, harvest and recycle, and recycle only
    3. Lead recycling activities
  • Warehouse management
    1. Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, accessible, and safe for staff
    2. Operate industrial trucks/forklifts to assist in loading and unloading of materials in warehouse
    3. Support physical inventory audits of various warehouses as directed
  • Regulatory/licensing compliance
    1. Support any regulatory/licensing requirements, including the storage of radiation therapy equipment
    2. Adhere to ISO standards and actively participate in annual surveillance and recertification audits as needed
  • Quality control
    1. Continually improve operations, including presenting the business case for infrastructure investments as part of annual operations planning activities
    2. Actively participate in the Company’s corrective action program
  • Performance management
    1. Coordinate, execute, and evaluate work performance
  • Required training – to be provided
    1. OSHA 10-hr
    2. DOT & IATA HAZMAT training
    3. Forklift training

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • Valid driver's license required
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of prior warehouse experience with extensive knowledge of inventory activities (sourcing, storage, tracking)
  • Strong communication, project management, and administrative skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Prior forklift experience – training and certification will be provided
  • Excellent PC skills, including Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and G-Suite

Environmental and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, for extended periods of time
  • Dexterous ability to manipulate small objects
  • Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required to support the customers
