About the job you’re considering:

We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to support our Commercial Pharma team, specifically within the Neurology and Oncology therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical data analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for commercial strategy and operations.

Your Role :

  • Analyze commercial pharma datasets including prescription, claims, and specialty distribution data.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to support brand, sales, and market access teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and medical affairs to deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for commercial stakeholders.
  • Support strategic decision-making by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities in the Neurology and Oncology markets.
  • Ensure data quality, integration, and consistency across multiple sources.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of total industry experience, with at least 3 years in data analytics or business intelligence within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial pharma data (e.g., prescription, claims, specialty distribution).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and Excel.
  • Experience working with Neurology and/or Oncology therapeutic areas is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with market access and reimbursement challenges in pharma.
  • Hands-on experience with datasets such as claims, EHR, MMIT formulary, patient registries, and data.
  • Knowledge of payer/PBM dynamics and how they impact commercial strategy.
  • Experience in storytelling with data to influence business decisions.
