Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Burbank, California.
Duties:
- Manage concurrent technology initiatives of moderate complexity across their full lifecycle, including project intake, requirements definition, charter/scope development, project planning, resource allocation, execution, and post-mortems
- Oversee project execution using waterfall, scrum, or Kanban methodologies
- Lead sprint ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure blockers are removed to maximize team throughput
- Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks while adapting project work plans to meet changing requirements and business needs
- Develop and maintain project documentation and artifacts in a clear, accessible format
- Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to engineering and program management, ensuring transparency with stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor resource capacity and time tracking, identifying staffing needs and optimizing allocation to improve delivery efficiency
- Leverage business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI) to provide executive reporting, track KPIs (program health, sprint velocity, resource utilization), and lead corrective actions when needed
- Lead quarterly and portfolio planning sessions, defining priorities, objectives, OKRs, capacity plans, and performance metrics
- Facilitate portfolio reviews to provide leadership with progress and risk assessments
- Establish and align project OKRs with organizational goals, ensuring outcomes directly support strategic priorities
- Create workflow diagrams and process maps to identify opportunities for streamlining and operational efficiency
- Apply analytics and critical thinking to highlight team inefficiencies and risk areas, implementing initiatives to improve productivity and effectiveness
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with hands-on expertise in both waterfall and agile methodologies
- 3+ years of experience managing a diverse project portfolio across varying technologies, complexities, and durations
- Proven success in leading cross-functional technical teams, including architects, infrastructure/data center engineers, software developers, system reliability engineers, storage engineers, and audio/visual engineers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving complex challenges in dynamic environments
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities under pressure, with the ability to organize, adapt, and deliver results in fast-paced, rapidly changing conditions
- Proficiency with project management tools such as: Jira and Smartsheet, and process mapping tools
- Demonstrated ability to create and present clear, executive-level project updates using LucidChart, Miro, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and non-technical information effectively across all organizational levels
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead meetings, drive alignment, and foster team effectiveness

The approximate pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $76.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
