Aerodyn Engineering is actively hiring a Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee high-precision, low-volume, and R&D-focused CNC manufacturing projects. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role where you’ll lead projects from concept to delivery — partnering with engineering, machinists, quality, and external customers to ensure success across budget, timeline, and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Lead and manage multiple complex CNC machining projects simultaneously
  • \n
  • Interpret project scopes and propose solutions to open-ended technical challenges
  • \n
  • Coordinate internal and external manufacturing processes, tooling, scheduling, and labor planning
  • \n
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders from quote through delivery
  • \n
  • Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and contract requirements
  • \n
  • Monitor costs, deadlines, and material flow using Epicor or similar ERP software
  • \n
  • Identify and resolve risks proactively to ensure project success
  • \n
  • Generate quotes and requisitions for parts and materials
  • \n
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and boost efficiency
  • \n
  • Document lessons learned and apply to future project planning
  • \n

Qualifications\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or related field preferred)
  • \n
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a CNC machining, aerospace, or manufacturing environment
  • \n
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of precision machining workflows
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills across departments and customers
  • \n
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
  • \n
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • \n
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, R&D-driven production environment
  • \n
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines
  • \n
