Job Description
As a Security Guard - Healthcare Site - Weekdays in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.
This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license in the job state is required.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

- Mon 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Tue 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Wed 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Thu 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Fri 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed, providing information and assistance related to security-related matters.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
- Remain alert and observant while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
