Overview
The Licensed Electrician I is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Always maintain current licensing and training requirements.
- Analyze blueprints effectively and utilize information on the jobsite.
- Install, maintain, and/or troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Layout conduit systems, lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety activities.
- Provide technical assistance to other field employees as needed.
- Provide direction, training, and mentorship to Helpers/Apprentices.
- Install conduit systems, lighting systems, and basic control systems; install motor feeders and make standard motor connections.
- Work as a member of a cohesive team with the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Keep the job site, tools, and vehicles clean and maintained.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety requirements; identify and report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents promptly.
- Participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program where appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
- Travel: 60-75%.
- Work Schedule: 6 am–6 pm, Monday through Friday; may vary based on customer demands and can include nights, weekends, and holidays.
