Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer with a drive for excellence, enthusiastic nature and a keen eye for detail. You will design all business development and property marketing collateral from concept to completion with limited supervision. Proficiency to expert level in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, is required. This role is based in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop custom eye-catching and effective marketing materials for new business pursuits and property marketing including pitches, presentations, brochures, offering memorandums, email campaigns, websites, invitations, signage, events, etc.
  • Lead and manage multiple creative projects from start to finish, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Track workflow and maintain logs/updates to ensure graphic design jobs are completed within required time frames and to client specifications.
  • Innovate and collaborate with sales professionals on creation of marketing materials.
  • Work closely with marketing and real estate teams to understand project objectives and deliver design solutions that align with business goals.
  • Provide guidance and creative input on projects.
  • Reposition assets with the ability to rebrand properties by logo development, color palettes, typography, and other design concepts to tell the story.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor marketing materials to improve design strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic arts, marketing, design and visual communication, multimedia, fine arts or related field.
  • 3-5+ years experience as a graphic designer in a corporate creative department, agency or design studio.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional), with familiarity in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficient in both Mac and PC. Premiere and After Effects knowledge is a plus.
  • Superior customer service and project management skills.
  • Ability to convey concepts and give design direction through layouts and effective written and verbal communication, along with strong business and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in a team environment and with clients in a professional setting.
  • Ability to independently manage projects by establishing and managing project schedules.
  • Aesthetic skills and keen eye for visual details; has a well-honed design perspective and knows how to translate that to marketing collateral.
  • Uphold corporate brand standards and adhere to style guidelines.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to provide design portfolio and examples of work.

Salary

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
