The Gift Shop Cashier/Barista is responsible for performing the duties of providing optimal customer service to the visitors, employees and guests of the hospital.
Responsibilities
The Gift Shop Cashier/Barista is responsible for performing the duties of providing optimal customer service to the visitors, employees and guests of the hospital. The position will charge and collect payment for all products and services provided, as well as stock and merchandise all products to provide maximum benefit to the customer. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies. Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads. Additionally this position is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment according to local, state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in a similar position preferred.
- Previous experience in retail service operations, preferably in a Food Service Operation.
- Ability to perform cash and credit functions appropriately.
- Possesses good customer service skills.
- Current Food Handlers Card.
