Refresh Dental is hiring: Dental Assistant in Cleveland

Overview

Dental Assistant at Refresh Dental. Our practice partners with North American Dental Group to provide support for excellent patient care. We practice group dentistry with a focus on empathy and putting every patient first, every visit.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. This role supports the clinical team and patient care from open to close shifts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support and help patients receive needed care.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative procedures.
• Provide chair-side support, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health history, enter chart notes under the doctor’s direction, and ensure forms are signed in dental software.
• Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, maintain asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists per OSHA guidelines.
• Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements, HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-ray, and other required certifications and registrations.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
