Job Title: Labpratory IT Support Specialist
Location: Collegeville, PA
Pay Rate: 70/hr
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) related support with a focus on issues, improvements, and user requirements.
• Work in a life sciences laboratory environment; collaborate with scientists to understand their PC and IT-related needs.
• Build or image PCs in a Microsoft environment; install or upgrade hardware as needed.
• Handle tickets, communicate with vendors and stakeholders, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across laboratory settings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Life science laboratory experience.
• Experience building or imaging PCs in a Microsoft environment.
• Experience installing or upgrading hardware.
• Strong ability to handle tickets, work with scientists to understand requirements, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate vendor support; solid knowledge of hardware and software issues.
