Position Summary

Provides support across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems, and requests related to the endpoint fleet of equipment. Communicates effectively about a broad range of technologies and explains solutions in technical and nontechnical terms. Also supports IT infrastructure to support effective and efficient technology used at the supported site(s). The role may require travel to multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Handles routine problems without assistance.
  • Provides remote support to other facilities as part of daily duties.
  • Mentor peers by sharing knowledge and guidance.
  • Build, install and maintain endpoints (PCs & MAC) in accordance with IT standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot endpoints (Windows & MAC) with routine maintenance.
  • Prioritize problems based on severity and impact; track incidents until resolution; escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with enterprise support teams and outside vendors to resolve issues.
  • Work with Microsoft Active Directory; SCCM a plus.
  • Manage local LAN architecture and components per enterprise standards.
  • Coordinate through change management to move, install, upgrade, remove and configure site IT assets.
  • Support wireless networks, servers, and peripheral devices related to desktop infrastructure per standards.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ownership of issues to restore service quickly; escalate where necessary.
  • Identify potential system changes and improvements for management consideration.
  • Ensure work is performed within service levels and corporate policies.
  • Log and maintain interactions (incidents, change tickets) in the ITSM toolset.
  • Maintain asset records throughout the lifecycle of endpoints.
  • Support routine audits of site IT assets and processes for policy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a related discipline or 3–5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to solve moderately complex problems by analyzing variables and applying solutions learned through experience.
  • Willingness to follow Environmental Health & Safety procedures; PPE use as required.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge of endpoint software OS (Windows, macOS), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace preferred.
  • Ability to recognize anomalies and respond appropriately; strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to learn specialized software as needed and maintain proficiency in primary tools used daily.
  • Commitment to delivering first-class customer service.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $55,100 to $82,700 per year. Salary may be adjusted based on geographic location, education, skills, experience, performance, shift, and location. Total compensation may include bonuses or incentive programs.
