Akkodis is hiring: IT Support/Field Technician in Atlanta

Overview

Akkodis is partnering with a local entity in the trucking business to hire a full-time field technician responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Expected areas of focus:

• Break Fix with / OS
• Office 365
• Software Update/Installs (New Deploy)
• Hard Drives
• Screen Replacements
• Active Directory
• Networking: DNS, DHCP

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop support to end users.
• Hardware and peripheral support
• Office and other Software installation and support
• Printer and printer driver support
• Hardware imaging and deployment
• Troubleshoot network connection issues
• Escalate complex issues to tier II for resolution.
• Research and work with Tier II as needed for resolution
• User login management across company and third-party platforms
• Security assignments
• Other user access issues
• Inventory Management
• Assist with budget preparation.
• To recycle decommissioned hardware.
• Regular hardware inspections
• Regular site visits

Travel around region on a regular 4-6 week schedule

Home base is Forest Park, GA

Other GA locations:

Overnight stays expected about 1x a month

1-2 nights

Potential requests to travel to outside locations

In Region travel would be expected to be using Personal Vehicle

Reimburse Mileage

Reimburse Meals + Overnight stays
