We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience to manage a diverse caseload from discovery through trial. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at legal research and writing, and is eager to develop courtroom skills under the mentorship of seasoned litigators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Handle all phases of litigation (pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, trials) Develop case theories and litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery and document review Draft and argue motions (summary judgments, motions to dismiss, motions in limine) Prepare persuasive trial briefs, memoranda, and appellate documents Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw/LexisNexis Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses Maintain clear communication with clients regarding case progress Contribute to business development through networking and client relations Mentor junior associates and paralegals Participate in firm-wide litigation training programs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school Active CA State Bar License in good standing 2-5 years of litigation experience (judicial clerkship counts) Demonstrated mastery of both written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft precise legal documents and articulate complex concepts clearly Bilingual in Spanish or Korean is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
