This position is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Serving an elementary school setting with a caseload spanning Kindergarten through 8th grade, this role offers a supportive work environment with a full-time SLP already onsite to ensure manageable workloads and collaborative practice.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs, collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining comprehensive documentation of student progress. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt therapy techniques for a pediatric population are essential.
Position Details:
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Setting: Elementary school servicing grades K-8
Schedule: 2 days per week preferred, but 1 day considered
Contract Type: School Year Contract (CSY)
Caseload: K-8 students requiring speech-language services
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification with either CCC or currently in CFY status
Experience working in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology
Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite full-time SLP and educational teams
Familiarity with school-based therapy regulations and IEP processes
