(Rotating Schedule):
Day ***** ***** 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM ***** 4 weeks Days ***** 5 consecutive days off (Saturday to Wednesday) at the end of the shift cycle.
Swing ***** ***** 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM ***** 4 weeks Days ***** Monday to Wednesday off; works Thursday to Sunday.
Split ***** ***** Monday to ***** 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM Saturday and ***** 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM ***** 4 weeks Days ***** Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities Perform analysis of intermediate process samples and finished tanks of petroleum products. Operate technical equipment like Automated Distillation Apparatus, Viscometers, Flash Point Analyzers, etc. Train in lab-specific modules, completing qualifications in various subdivisions such as Gas Streams and Jet. Regularly troubleshoot and ensure QA/QC compliance in accordance with industry standards. Participate in all safety training and attend monthly lab safety meetings.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Chemistry or a related field. Must be open to working rotating shifts, including day, swing, and eventually graveyard, once qualified in relevant subdivisions. Previous experience in a refinery is preferred.
