Our client is a third-party firm that specializes in administering employer benefit plans. They aim to create a state-of-the-art, fully integrated benefit management platform to meet their clients' needs.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Our client is looking to add an

Administrative Assistant

to their team. Under the general supervision of the Department supervisor, Senior Administrative Assistant, and/or Account Executive, the Administrative Assistant provides office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects for Trust Funds.

Compensation:

$20/hr Availability:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Duties & Responsibilities: Performs a variety of routine to moderately complex secretarial and clerical duties, including answering the telephone, sorting mail, and filing. Uses Microsoft Office for word processing and spreadsheet creation Types correspondence, memoranda, reports, and forms from handwritten notes, copy, or dictation Performs research projects as directed by the department manager or Account Executives. Proofreads documents for typographical and spelling errors. Maintains supply inventory for the department. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: BA in Business Working knowledge of basic office equipment Demonstrated ability to keep calm and positive within all communications. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external clients. Proven ability to accurately and timely review accounting information and documentation. Ability to utilize computer and phone systems to effectively perform the essential functions of the position.
