Position Summary

The Data Analyst will serve as a key contributor to the IT department, supporting enterprise application implementations, managing Forgen's application role security, and business analytics reporting. This role blends ITIL 4-aligned responsibilities—acting as a Process Manager to oversee data lifecycle execution and team coordination, a Process Practitioner to perform ETL, reporting, and data quality tasks, and a Service Level Manager to ensure dashboards and reports meet defined SLAs. The analyst will lead data readiness efforts for new application deployments, manage reporting enablement, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure secure, accurate, and value-driven data services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Operations

  • Lead the execution of data lifecycle processes across ERP, HRMS, and business systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data readiness and governance during application implementations.
  • Monitor and improve data workflows, ensuring alignment with compliance and performance standards.

Data Analyst

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc reports using Power BI, Excel, and SQL tools.
  • Support data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation for ERP and HRMS security audits and implementations.
  • Assist in data mapping, migration, and testing during new application deployments.

BI & Reporting

  • Define and track service-level metrics for data reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure timely delivery of dashboards and reports that meet business SLAs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine reporting requirements and improve data service quality.
  • Document reporting logic, data flows, and performance metrics for implemented applications.

Application Implementation Support

  • Serve as the data lead for new application implementations, including ERP modules, HRMS platforms, and business systems.
  • Partner with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Ensure secure and accurate data integration across systems, including role-based access and audit support.
  • Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts related to data and reporting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Construction Accounting experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or application support.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with ERP and HRMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SAP).
  • Understanding of ITIL 4 principles and service management practices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.

Pay Range
$67,000—$95,000 USD
