Overview
We're seeking a Field Service Technician to lead preventive and corrective maintenance efforts on line equipment. This role serves as both a technical expert and team leader, ensuring high equipment performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production line equipment. Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical and automation malfunctions, providing permanent resolutions or proper escalation. Support production post-maintenance to restore or exceed efficiency targets. Install rebuild kits and reinstate equipment to production with minimal disruption. Analyze performance issues and implement approved operational improvements. Manage and resolve claims, providing technical support and quality documentation. Deliver detailed service reports to the back office. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line performance.
Travel:
Up to 80% | This is a heavy field-travel role, you will be traveling to client sites most of the time and stationed there for 1-2 weeks, or as long as necessary.
Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 4+ years of experience in: Equipment manufacturing service industry (troubleshooting/repair) Carton and packaging technology (nice to have) Aseptic packaging technology (nice to have) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical and automation) Excellent communication and documentation skills Commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement Must have a valid driver's license and passport for travel
Compensation:
Base salary + annual bonus
