Position Overview Storrs Central is seeking a creative and proactive UConn student to join our team as a Graphic Design Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in sports creative, marketing, and social media, providing students with practical skills in multimedia production and branding while earning course credit.

Key Responsibilities Generate visual assets—graphics, thumbnails, social media posts, posters, banners, and event collateral—for UConn sports campaigns and Storrs Central NIL initiatives. Schedule and publish social media content with an understanding of audience. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent branding across platforms. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, activations, and other various Storrs Central NIL content. Adapt creative concepts into polished deliverables that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Engage with fans in the digital space and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required: Must

be a current

UConn student

eligible for course credit. Must

submit Portfolio of relevant work Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Creative eye with strong attention to detail. Understanding of social media platforms/trends, fan engagement, and college sports culture. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred: Coursework or experience in graphic design, multimedia, sports marketing, or related fields. Experience in live event coverage or game-day production. Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms. Interest in NIL initiatives and athlete-centered content.

Internship Details Duration: Fall or Spring semester (flexible with course schedules). Commitment: ~15–20 hours/week, including occasional game-day events. Credit: Internship is

for course credit only

(unpaid). Location: UConn athletic venues as required/remote.
