Release Train Engineer (RTE) Location : Alpharetta, GA/Berkeley Heights, NJ

Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a visionary Release Train Engineer (RTE) to manage and drive technology releases across hybrid execution teams (Agile Scrum and Waterfall). The ideal candidate possesses strong strategic decision-making skills, financial acumen, and technological savvy to navigate and harmonize these diverse methodologies and highly distributed work responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution for programs and large-scale projects, ensuring alignment of all teams and stakeholders. Oversee and coordinate the dependencies and deliverables of multiple hybrid execution teams (Agile and Waterfall), ensuring on-time and high-quality releases. Analyse and address execution constraints driven by governance, risk, and compliance requirements in a highly regulated industry. Guide the optimization of daily Agile practices, fostering continuous improvement and adherence to Agile principles, despite hybrid execution challenges. Manage and communicate program increment (PI) objectives, ensuring all teams understand priorities and are aligned with program goals. Facilitate and lead ART ceremonies, ensuring they are effective even under the constraints of evolving enterprise practices. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments, employing a problem-solving mindset to find actionable solutions. Cultivate a culture of innovation, empowerment, and growth within the teams, driving continuous improvement and learning. Foster stakeholder alignment and facilitate executive-level discussions to ensure shared vision and objectives. Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the release process.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar certifying body. Proven experience in managing and guiding both Agile and Waterfall teams. Deep understanding and practical experience with SAFe methodologies, even within diverse Agile environments. Strong strategic decision-making skills with a balanced approach to risk and reward. Extensive experience and expertise in handling large-scale technology projects and digital transformation initiatives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.
