We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

CNC Machinist

to join our team. In this role, you will analyze specifications, set up and operate CNC machine tools, and assemble precision parts for dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Okuma Bridge Mill machines and G-code programming, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities Machining & Programming Set up and operate Okuma Bridge Mill and controls, tooling, and material (square blocks & 3D). Read and interpret blueprints; apply trigonometry to determine machining angles. Write and execute G-code and canned cycle programs. Drill, tap, counterbore, ream, and machine to tolerances as tight as ±0.01. Deburr, polish, and finish parts to meet specifications. Communicate effectively with die makers regarding project requirements. Follow production schedules and manage machine time efficiently. Operate overhead crane and forklift for material handling. Shop Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Keep scrap hoppers emptied and machine tables cleaned. Ensure tooling, oils, and coolants are properly maintained. Safety Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Wear required PPE at all times. Maintain clean and safe floors, free of debris and hazards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred. CNC machining experience with G-code programming required. Proficient in algebra, trigonometry, and blueprint reading. Ability to machine within tight tolerances. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Basic fabrication skills (grinding, welding, torch, plasma cutter, shear). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Competencies Operation & Control of CNC equipment. Critical Thinking & Problem Sensitivity.
