Quality Engineer in Clanton, AL

This position is essential to refining production methods, supporting supplier quality, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute quality assurance activities to ensure product reliability and compliance. Manage all phases of the
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
process. Prepare and submit
PPAP documentation
in line with
AIAG guidelines . Develop and procure gauges for specific programs. Investigate and resolve customer complaints; implement corrective actions. Collaborate with suppliers to improve components and resolve manufacturing issues (travel may be required). Participate in
Simultaneous Development Teams (SDTs)
and internal audits. Train production and quality personnel on program-specific requirements. Support prototype fabrication and delivery during product introduction.
What We Are Looking For Minimum
3 years of Quality experience
in the
automotive industry
(required). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred). Familiarity with
Nissan’s ANPQP quality system
is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage customer complaints. Experience with quality documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
