Description

Location : Westborough, MA - Programs located at our Westborough Treatment Campus. Staff may be placed at any of the several programs located on the campus. Nursing staff are cross-trained to cover all programs and levels of care.

Pay rate : $20.00-$21.00/hour

Schedule : Part-time, weekends only Friday/Saturday 2nd shift. 16 hours per week

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for:

Performing a variety of administrative duties in support of clinical and programmatic operations.

Ordering of office supplies and maintaining inventories of those supplies for assigned programs.

Ordering linens, towels, hygiene products, printed materials, and other various items necessary for program operations and maintaining inventories.

Overseeing office equipment maintenance and contacting vendors as needed for items such as copiers, phones, cable/internet, IT support services, etc.

Performing basic billing functions in support of the admissions department such as perform benefit verifications and other administrative billing tasks.

Clinical record filing system, including, management of discharge records, and coordinating pick-ups of records going to off-site storage companies and tracking of those records for retrieval as needed.

Tracking for completion of certain record documentation within the electronic health record system and sending reminders to staff of incomplete items.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.

Two years of experience and expertise in office/clerical support, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred.

Experience with billing or admissions processes in a healthcare setting are highly desirable.

Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred.

Must have knowledge of appropriate business correspondence protocol.

Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
