As a seasoned mechanical engineer in a process or chemical manufacturing setting, you’ll elevate equipment performance, strengthen reliability, and champion safe, compliant processes. Compensation & Travel

Salary Range:

$110,000 – $130,000 (based on experience, education, certifications, and skills) Travel:

Up to 25% Your Day-to-Day

Lead cross-functional facility and manufacturing improvements—from scoping and budgeting to ROI modeling and execution. Design, test, and iterate on new and existing mechanical systems to drive efficiency and uptime. Partner with maintenance and production to troubleshoot mechanical, motion, and hydraulic issues; provide pragmatic fixes that stick. Apply continuous improvement and root-cause analysis to eliminate chronic losses and prevent recurrence. Verify products, systems, and processes meet all relevant codes and standards. Build and support capital project documentation using TPM tools and the six-step management methodology. Train teams on new equipment and processes so changes are adopted safely and effectively. Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders with cadence-based updates. What You BringRequired

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 10+ years in industry, ideally within chemical or process manufacturing. High proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings. Advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, motion, and hydraulic systems. Working knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, and PLCs for basic troubleshooting. Proven track record delivering results with cross-functional partners. Preferred

3D modeling experience (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Navisworks). Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Background in chemical manufacturing. Benefits
