Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. · Retrieve products from designated storage locations within the warehouse. · Accurately read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, packaged, and shipped. · Accurately identifying items based on order specifications and ensuring the correct quantity is selected. · Pack all materials into appropriate containers based on specific packing requirements. · Ensure materials are packed effectively to avoid damage during transit. · Coordinate the shipment process by preparing shipping labels, verifying addresses, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete. · Collaborate with shipping carriers to facilitate the timely dispatch of packages. · Conduct visual inspections of products during the picking and packing stages to identify any defects or discrepancies. · Utilize inventory management systems to update stock levels and communicate any shortages or overages, as needed. · Work effectively as a team to achieve daily shipping goals. Demands/Travel This job operates in a
warehouse/manufacturing
setting where various tools and equipment are used. This role must be able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and exhibit good visual acuity to perform daily tasks. This is a full-time position, on-site at the manufacturing facility. The weekly hours worked are 36 hours per week. There may be a need for overtime work. This position must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
