Job Objective:
Effectively and efficiently move raw materials and finished goods to required
departments/locations.

Safe operation of a forklift to effectively and efficiently move raw materials and finished goods to required
departments/locations. Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment. Occasionally required to band raw materials or finished product. Load and unload trucks using forklift, maintaining order and safety on the dock for all items being loaded or unloaded. Communicate with drivers regarding start and finish of load/unload, and where to dock. Always maintain a safe working environment and monitor all work processes for safe working conditions. Maintain a clean working area. Inform the supervisor of any safety or quality issues. Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, certifications, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education & Experience: Prior forklift driving experience preferred. Would be required to pass internal forklift driving training.
Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively. Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime. Ability to effectively self-manage time and service multiple areas.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None.

The work environment for this position is a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather which exposes the employee to outdoor conditions.
