LTG Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of LTG AG, has been operating in Spartanburg, South Carolina for the past 30 years. Our business has been experiencing substantial growth, and we are presently in search of candidates for a shipping/receiving position to improve our warehouse and shipping/receiving area.

Description:

The individual is responsible for on-time incoming and outgoing products, adhering to specific criteria as assigned.

Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time. Must maintain proper vision requirements Must be able to maintain alertness to their surroundings.

Job Responsibilities: Unload, move/store a variety of materials, parts/products Unload incoming materials, check, report shortages/damaged materials Move to storage area, store, stack, and arrange for possible first-in/first-out use Move materials between departments, following routing, delivery tickets/orders Cover all steps for outgoing material incl. proper packing of crates per company's packing instructions Stage and restock materials in appropriate locations using packing slips and inventory systems. Fill order from storage areas/warehouse stock and deliver to designated customer Operate pallet jack in moving materials, stacking loaded pallets making frequent trips to storage areas Load and pack materials, parts/products for shipment Interface with other departments Assembles order; checks against shipping or sales/customer order. Report shortages and incomplete orders. Select appropriate shipping containers and packing materials. Operate standard manual used for the shipping process. Stack shipments on skids as required and move shipments to shipping dock. Receive and unpack materials and supplies. Check receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects. Complete receiving reports specified in standard procedures. Assemble spare parts orders for shipment Complete proper documentation as required Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse Assist where and when needed Investigate and resolve material discrepancies; report issues to purchasing as needed. Operate with a high level of urgency, maximum productivity, and profitability Operate all warehouse machinery and tools, including but not limited to pallet jacks, cutters, power tools, etc. Ability to lift, carry, pull, and maneuver heavy material or equipment up to 100 lbs together with a second worker Ability to work in a position that requires prolonged standing and frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching Ability to perform repetitive step up and down throughout work hours from MHE (material handling equipment) Comfortable operating relatively large machines and power tools Manage shipping and receiving processes, including packaging, labeling, loading/unloading, and documentation. Verify styles and quantities of incoming and outgoing materials against shipping labels and schedules. Coordinate with logistics providers and customer service to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Maintain adequate levels of shipping and packaging supplies. Keep shipping/receiving areas clean and organized per 5S standards; complete housekeeping checklists. Ability to work independently or collaboratively Must exhibit urgency with a commitment to superior service levels Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented Takes initiative Reading and understanding documentation, work procedures, packing instructions, and part numbers

Starting Salary Range:

$18/hour Requirements
