Company Description

Vet First Mechanical is a complete mechanical HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping contractor with offices located in Kent, Tacoma, and Eastern Washington. The company has experienced continuous growth since opening its doors in 2018 and is now looking for more full-time employees to fulfill the roles of both Senior and junior level project managers, for recently awarded and upcoming projects.

We are both a general contractor and a mechanical contractor.

Currently, Vet First has a 2–3-year backlog, with additional opportunities pending for both new and existing employees.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an on-site Project Manager located in the greater Seattle area. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and budgets. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives, oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, and manage logistics and inspections.

Minimum Qualifications

• Project Management skills and experience
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and billing cycles
• Expeditor and Expediting skills
• Quality Control experience
• Logistics Management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and leadership skills
• Previously employed as a mechanical HVAC project manager
• Good understanding of private negotiated projects.

Desired Qualifications

• Lean Construction Experience
• Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Suite
• Estimating Experience
• Sales and Marketing experience
