Our client, an
Am Law 100 firm , is seeking an
Associate
to join its
Capital Markets & Public Company Advisory practice
in one of the following offices:
Chicago, Jacksonville, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Tampa . The practice provides ongoing
U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) counsel
and capital markets services to a wide range of clients, from large, established public companies to innovative, growth-stage businesses preparing to go public. Key Responsibilities & Experience
3 to 6 years
of relevant capital markets and public company advisory experience. Advising clients on a variety of
capital markets transactions
as well as
corporate governance and securities law compliance
matters. Drafting and reviewing SEC disclosure and reporting documents, including in connection with securities offerings. Counseling on fiduciary duty issues and governance matters. Engaging directly with clients and senior partners on complex matters. Qualifications
JD from an
ABA-accredited law school . Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction of practice (timely admission required for the office of hire). Strong drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills. Business development mindset, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
