At Rise48, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, administering policies and procedures, and providing guidance to employees and managers across a wide range of human resources functions. This position is critical in helping to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
  • Coordinate benefit enrollment and help answer employee benefit-related questions.
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Partner with management on performance management and employee development.
  • Assist with HR compliance, audits, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
  • Help plan and support employee engagement activities and company events.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administration of organization’s benefits programs, which may include medical/health, dental, disability, vision and life insurance, retirement plans, and more.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and ensure quality service.
  • Act as a liaison with carriers and third-party vendors; manage and monitor EDI feeds to ensure timely, accurate transmission of eligibility data.
  • Review and reconcile monthly benefits invoices for all vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll deductions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of HR experience; generalist experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with iSolved is a plus.
