JOB DESCRIPTION A house attendant at The Rose Hotel is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards and policies. This includes making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. They must ensure rooms are ready for guest occupancy and report any maintenance issues to supervisors promptly. Must provide attentive courteous and efficient service to guests, contributing to the overall guest experience and satisfaction. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, and strong customer service skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and independently follow task priorities. Adhere to key security procedures. Assist room attendants by delivering and collecting supplies, linen, and amenities. Clean and sanitize guest rooms, restrooms, furniture, and public areas (e.g., stairwells, hallways, fitness center, laundry room). Replenish supplies and maintain organized linen closets. Complete daily housekeeping reports. Follow safety and security guidelines, working with cleaning chemicals as needed. Assist guests and team members courteously, maintaining a friendly demeanor. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, twisting, and standing for long periods. Good vision required for cleaning tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
