This position offers hands-on experience in global and domestic logistics operations, providing valuable exposure to international trade, domestic and international shipping, and supply chain management. • Discover how to understand domestic and international freight contracts and terms, and how to effectively compare them with invoicing details. • Examine customs statements and learn how to navigate HTS lists, as well as search the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and related resources. • Assist in coordinating shipments and managing transportation documentation. • Track shipments and maintain accurate records in our management system. • Support customs compliance and international trade documentation processes. • Help analyze shipping routes and carriers to optimize delivery times and costs. • Collaborate with local delivery partners, freight forwarders, brokers, and customs brokers. • Support the team with import/export documentation and compliance checks. • Coordinate with carriers and manage delivery schedules. • Help troubleshoot shipment delays and help coordinate solutions. Qualifications
Incoming college senior pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong work ethic with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
