Overview Calibration Technician Rate: $25 to $27/hr Location: Lockport, IL 60441 Schedule: Full Time; Onsite
What You’ll Do:
• Calibrate Electrical Test & Measurement equipment from production according to established procedures. • Calibrate customer units that have been returned for service. • Complete and maintain calibration documentation. • Review data for accuracy and completeness. • Work independently to achieve the desired results. • Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and applications assistance. • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
What You’ll Need:
• A basic knowledge of electrical and electronic theory. • Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications. • Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment. • Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures. • Must possess solid judgement and decision-making skills. • Must be well organized and be able to multitask. • Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form. • Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player. • A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and performing tests and calibration. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
