SUMMARY We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to operate a 26,000-pound (non-CDL) box truck for local deliveries and pickups. In addition to driving duties, this role includes general warehouse responsibilities such as loading/unloading shipments, inventory support, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is flexible, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Saturday and/or overtime hours may be required as required per business need. Driving Duties: Operate a 26,000 lb. box truck to complete daily routes for local pickups and deliveries Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods to customers, job sites, or partner locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues Secure loads and ensure compliance with company and DOT safety standards Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery paperwork Warehouse Duties: Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality Organize and stock warehouse inventory in designated locations Assist in order picking, packing, staging, and shipping operations Support regular inventory counts and cycle audits Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and in compliance with company standards * Additional duties as required based on business need
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience driving box trucks up to 26,000 lbs. (non-CDL required; CDL is a plus but not necessary) Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods Familiarity with basic inventory systems or scanners is a plus Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Bilingual Spanish preferred Excellent hand-eye coordination. Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners. Mathematical aptitude Good organizational skills Attention to detail Good written and verbal communication.
