The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess the necessary qualifications to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit.
Responsibilities -
Supervise and assist students as they board and exit the bus, helping with any special needs or challenges. - Ensure students are seated and remain seated properly throughout the ride. - Maintain order and a positive atmosphere on the bus, addressing any behavioral issues in a calm and effective manner. - Assist the bus driver with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking for items left on the bus. - Attend to the needs of students with disabilities, providing a helping hand and ensuring their comfort and safety. - Communicate with school staff and parents as needed regarding student behavior, health, or other concerns.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience working with children, preferably in a school or childcare setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. - Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently. - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
